The following list of Flamenco guitar pieces and falsetas is grouped into seven levels by increasing order of difficulty. There are many factors involved in determining the technical and musical level of any work. The rhythm background, theoretical knowledge, right-hand and left-hand techniques, as well as the kinesthetic and aural memory level of the player all combine to play a role in choosing which pieces would best suit the individual musician, as well as determining his or her level. Therefore, the order of the pieces that we have listed within each level is not necessarily the order in which each student will study them. During your Flamenco lesson, consult your teacher to find out if the piece(s) or falsetas you would like to learn are at your level.
